Call the Wah-mbulance

So the kids and my family left yesterday for Laguna. Jeff took me to dinner and we had a really nice time. Today I woke up with a lump in my throat. I was so sad all day. I am on the verge of tears because I miss my girls so much. Jeff had to work 1-11 PM. I went to the movies with Abbe and her family today but I came home after because I was worried about Samra. She has been so bummed with the kids gone that she is now shedding a coat that is not meant for shedding. She hasn't left my lap for 4 hours. I text and called the girls about 10 times but they are busy having fun with their cousins-in-law.

This picture was sent from Julia's phone.

I should have gone up with them but the thought of a few days alone with Jeff sounded great. Along with a few days to get errands done at my own pace sounded lovely too. But here, all alone on a Saturday night made me feel so alone and sad. Jeff gets home in an hour and then we can go to bed because he has to work 7 AM - 5 PM tomorrow. I know my sad mood will pass as soon as her gets home but right now I am bummmediddidty bummed bummed.

The Spears family needs to be escorted off of Earth. We cannot support such trash. TRASH TRASH TRASH

Saturday, December 15, 2007

I would walk the streets in 6 inch stillettos for them if I needed to.

What a Whirlwind of a couple of days!! Little Miley Cyrus is apparently the "it" girl of the century, That little 15 year old tart has turned my home upside down. The girls love Hannah Montana. Actually, love to weak a word. They LERVE Hannah Montana. (To quote Woody Allen in Annie Hall, go see it.) Well Hannah is a quadrillion dollar business Her merchandise take in for 2007 was 26 billion. That's right, billion. Her concert in Chicago sold out in 30 seconds. That's right, 30 seconds.

Well listen here. The radio stations here were doing lots of contests to win tickets. 95.5 the country station told us to text "Hannah" to get tickets. we didn't win. The 94.1, the mix had a contest for whoever had the most famous celebrity call in would win tickets. Someone had the Soup Nazi dude from Seinfeld call in and Lee Majors, the 6 million dollar man. I immediately thought of a my good gal pal, Jill who I went to Jr High with but have gotten closer to in the past couple of years. Her brother is Jimmy Kimmel who also went to school with my brother. I wanted Jimmy to call in. I called her and she told me that it wouldn't happen. Jimmy doesn't think he is big like that. (Jimmy, Uh you are, hello. ) But right after I called her I felt like a crap for using her like that. Jill is my sweet patootie friend and I love her like a fat boy loves cake and I would die if anything ever got in the way of our friendship. She assured me that all was good and we were cool and she didn't blame me for trying. But I still felt like a turd.  ANYWAY, He wouldn't have won anyway, because this happened:

Many listeners of Mix 94.1 in Las Vegas were surprised when none other than Lindsay Lohan called in to the station’s morning show.

In a sweet act of kindness, the actress called on behalf of a friend of hers that entered a contest to see who could get the most famous person to call in. The winner gets a pair of Hannah Montana concert tickets.

There’s no other way Lindsay could have scored tickets?

On-air hosts Mark and Mercedes used the opportunity to grill Lohan on her life.

She talks about…

- How she’s doing
- The media
- Her relationship with Riley Giles
- Her family
- Being reunited with her father
- Working on her new album
- And her desire to go to Africa for charity work

So, I would have really felt like crap if he would have called and didn't win. So I thought that maybe, despite the sold out in 30 seconds Chicago thing, I would try and purchase tickets. Well I did it!!! I stayed on ticket master for 20 minutes before ticket sale time of 12:00 noon and got through!!! I got three tickets to the show!! I got tickets for my babies and I didn't have to walk any street corner or humiliate myself in any way! By the way, Both shows here in Vegas sold out in 30 minutes. That's right, 30 minutes.

SO we are needless to say, very happy and Miley Cyrus in needless to say, very rich. And did I mention 15??

Merry Hanakkah

We have decorated. This is it. We are done. We are going to Laguna for Christmas.

Monday, November 26, 2007

It has been a few days

It has also been like a totally major holiday so back off Betty.

I am still trying to get the house in order. I hope to have it done by like, May. I am trying this new thing called

It is from the Greek word Organ which means "to org"

Well, I am orging and it is time consuming. I spent three hours orging my upstairs bookcase and cupboards. We have a wall to wall bookcase on top of my stairs and I have completely dusted it and put all the books in order. Where before they were randomly stocked by shape now all the Harry Potters are together, Little House On The Prairies, Narnia's and Letters to Penthouse.

Nicole said she will help me because she is totally OCD and is crazy. I mean totally nutty. She has to have her butter level in the tub. After the wedding, Jeff and I went over there and he wrote his name in the butter with a knife. She went bat shit and angry text me while I was Mesa. Don't text angry. Evah. I do love her even though her pantry is in alphabetical order.

I finally found my Wicked book which I plan to start reading in a bathroom soon. We are making the guest room / toy room Jeff's office so that took a lot of dumping. It was a happy meal toy graveyard in there. It all went.

I want to get it together soon because I want to .......want to...... ummmm, well,

go back to work.

Wah wah what???? Did I ever mention to you that I was a little nuts? Ok, SO I don't want to REALLY go. I kinda have to go. For my mental state, see. And my financial state. And for the state of Idaho. I want to find something part time. So I can still be there for the girls. I like meeting them after school.  Ok That should hold you until something fabtabulous happens.

ho hum

I had the best week evah! Jeff was on vacay and we had the WEDDING, and we had a lil trip and then we painted the downstairs. Yes. 500 coats of freakin red. If you are thinking about painting a wall in your house red, don't. It is crazy tedious and you need a million coats to get it even. But the end result is glorious. We love it. I just haven't taken a picture of it yet. cuz I was sad, cuz Jeff went back to work, cuz he is the breadwinner a   n   d     I   a   m    n    o   t.  *sad bunny*  ho hum. Thanksgiving this week becasue time is dash dash dashing by my life.

After the WEDDING

Now that all the hoopla is over Jeff and I will resume our married life. We took a trip to Mesa, AZ. We hadn't been on a trip alone in over 5 years so it was well needed. We had a fabulous time. We had a fabulous room, and the weather was fabulous and well, it was all fab - u- lous. I finally went to an IKEA instead of drooling over the catalog. It is my favorite place ever! We spent over an hour there and had so much fun.

I also got to see a dear friend from high school. Jill. She does stand up and we got to see her MC some comedian friends of hers. It was great. It was also her birthday. Her brother went to school with mine too.

Jeff and I had a great time ----ALONE.

Wedding day

I should have more pictures tonight but here is the rehearsal dinner.

5 more days!

You would think that it is my wedding in 5 days and not Nicole's. I need to lose 100 lbs in 5 days. Does anybody have any suggestions? I was planning on fasting but then I got a craving for egg foo young for lunch.

This week is so busy. I had to get brown socks for Jeff, panty hose for me and the girls and ingredients for Green Bean cassarole. Thats not for the wedding, it for Thanksgiving at Abbe's. Target is having a fabulous sale of Thanksgiving ingredients. I got enough stuff for two huge cassaroles and it cost me $5.00 for everything including the pans.

We had the dress fitting for the girls yesterday and their large alien heads would not fit in the head hole. They are being resewn and Nicole will pick those up on Wednesday. I have to pick up my and Nicole's shoes at David's Bridal tomorrow. On Wednesday I need to dye my hair and on Thursday Nikki and Tanya will be here and we can all play if Nicole is up for it.

I would like to get a tan. I haven't one of those since the eighties. I actually feel like I am getting ready for the prom. Except this time I may get lucky at the end of the night.

Saturday, November 3, 2007

I just came back from Nicole's bachelorette party and I am three sheets to the wind.  We went to this awesome place called Dick's Last Resort and if you have one in your town, Go now. They are rude and they throw napkins at you. It was great. Here are pictures but if the word PENIS offends you in any way, don't go there.

Who am I kidding? I am 107 and way too old to be shlepping these kids up and down a street just so they can whore themselves for free candy. I am exhausted.

Pumpkins for the house and pumpkins for the school contest.

Saturday, October 27, 2007

Those of you who are close to me have heard me say that my life is divided into two parts right now. BW and AW. Before wedding and after wedding. My friend, Nicole is getting married on November 10th. I have known her for as long as I have known Jeff. we all met at the same camp. I have waited 15 years for this wedding and I am thrilled for her. I am also the Matron of Honor.  My kids are the flower girls and Jeff is a groomsman. We are all in this wedding.  I am excited because I just know that there will be an excellent photo op for the family. I am excited for Nicole and Eric too but I am thinking about me and my family.  Actually I am only thinking about me. It will be a blast because all of my closest friends will be there. Plus my parents. I want to laugh and dance and have a great time. I haven't danced with my husband in several years. I want this wedding to be a new life for everyone involved. A fresh start. I will keep you updated.

The business

The business is now my life. The business has taken over and has become one of my children. The business is the blob that has absorbed our brains. We eat the business, sleep the business, cry and poop the business. We got our first "non - friend", real person, client today and it was very good. A very high profile Las Vegas kinda client and it was good. Jeff charmed their asses off and it was good.

Need to be said:

I am so sorry to:

My niece, Anna Beth and her family

and to

Stace, and her family

Anna Beth, We love you so much, you will get through this with faith and the love of your family.

Stace, call me if you need me, I am thinking of you.

Ho hum

We finally got the carpet replaced in my house. Two months after the "flood" They arrived at 8:20 AM to install the linoleum in the bathroom and continued on to the carpet until 6:30 PM. These guys were so good. The steps were a pain in the butt. The poor guy would finish 1 step every 45 minutes. And every time he would finish he would look up wishing the rest were gone. And the other guy was allergic to cats so even though fat ass Minnie was locked up in the bathroom the guy was a snotty, wheezy mess.

Right now I am having the toilets replaced because when one commode saw the attention the floody one got it quit working too. We were down to a 1/2 of a bathroom for 4 people. We were starting to panic but we steered clear from Mexican food and anything that would give us the "Mcshits."

We got paid a third from our second customer yesterday. And we still have a $400 balance from our first guy.

By the way. I quit my job at the end of August to work full time for Jeff's company and to be home with the kids and not pay any daycare. I am thrilled with my decision but feel  guilty and scared at the same time. Hence me waiting almost two months to tell the Internet. It has been for the best because I have been home during all of the home construction. I am starting serious advertising on Wednesday so hopefully that will bring more customers in. It has also been great because my mom retired on the 25th of August so we have been spending time together. That is until she left on their three week cruise to Egypt, Turkey, and Greece. They come home on Wednesday. But I am sure they will be all spacey until Friday.

Hope all is well internet, kisses.

Dog Park

We have been taking Samra to the dog park every night to calm her down and get her some exercise. She has been very excited about this and so have the girls. It is hysterical to see these dogs interact. The girls with a new puppy, not ours.

Family Day

In honor of TVLand's Family Day, which encourages family's to eat dinner together, I feel compelled to tell you one of my greatest family dinner memories. Knowledge is very important to my father. He insists that we know current events, politics and the stock exchange. These things are extremely important to him so he thinks they should be important to everyone. Something else he insists we know is great movies of the past. Three he feels very strongly about are Wizard of Oz, Gone with The Wind and Casablanca. We grew up watching these movies and we know them backward and forward. One of my greatest memories was one year in the late 70's when Gone with the Wind was on TV and was cut to I think three separate nights. We would order Chinese food and all sit on the floor in the living room eating on the coffee table watching the movie on our teeny tiny 5" TV. It is a great memory.

My parents left for a three week cruise to Turkey, Greece and Egypt yesterday. Spending my inheritance as quick as they can.  I am actually thrilled for them because this is the trip of a lifetime. They are going with a group of people that are very old friends of theirs. A couple that has had some trauma but that is another entry. My mom is thrilled about her recent retirement and and is living it up.

On another subject, My BFF, Abbe has helped me dissect  my recent run of bad luck and why I am bringing this bad energy to myself. We figured it was all stemming from the trouble with Jeff and I back in June and the fact that I was having issues with it still and could not let it go. The problems shook me to the core and I could not bounce back. After we figured it out it was if a weight was lifted. I had let my self esteem run away and with it my awareness and stability. I was taking in bad energy and making it my lifestyle. Well the morning of the revelation I wrote down everything bad that has happened to me since June and I burned the list, letting it go. I feel a lot better. I hope, actually I know, that things are brighter and I know that I am a good person.

Stay far away from me.

My horrible black cloud will get you to. So read this and run away.

I washed my cell phone. It is destroyed. I left it in my jeans.

My car blew up. I have no vehicle

If you are taking notes you will know that there is a big black cloud over me and has been for a few months. The furthest away you run from me, the better.

On a positive, We got paid on our first job.

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

So many people said nice things to me about Spooky. He was a great little doggie. He never growled or bared his teeth or ever did anything mean. He just wanted to be near you and eat and sleep. He was a bit of a close talker but that is ok. I still have one other "real" pet other than Samra. I have Minnie. The angry cat.

Minnie was rescued about a year and a half ago and has been plotting our deaths ever since. She hates us but loves us at the same time. She is extremely tormented by the fact that she loves for us to rake her cheeks with our nails but hates humans. So she takes the petting for awhile than attacks our hands when its gets too much. She has been known to attack Jeffs head in the middle of the night yet lick his scalp for over an hour while he slept. I actually watched this and couldn't bring myself to swat her away. It was a love affair that was so very wrong yet I could not tear my eyes away. She is also very very fat. So fat that when she sits on the remote control it changes channels. So fat that when we are down stairs and she jumps from the bed to the floor we can hear the ceiling crackle. So fat that when she attempts to jump up the dresser she fails miserably and slides down in shame. I only feed her dry and occasionally some wet. I know she poops because I change her litter.

THis is the first day of a happy Cyndi

No doubt this has been a pretty crappy Summer. Did I bring it all on myself with bad energy? I dont know but I am stopping it right now. I do have a few things to update you on.

First, Alyssa and Emma started school. Emma is now in first grade which is free free free!!!

It was rainging very hard. So we all had umbrellas. It was the first year that both Jeff and I were able to drop the girls off on the first day.Emma was really excited! We also started the process of getting our house fixed. That was really stressing me out. But I have calmed down. The ceiling and painting is done we are just waiting for the carpet people to call us back. We also went camping last weekend. We had a blast despite the fact that we had to put Spooky down. He had grown a tumor and was losing weight at a rapid pace. He knew. He had stopped eating and he was just bummed out. I was glad that the girls were able to say good bye to him. Samra has been kind of mellow but still managed to go through our garbage 2 times since she has been home. That is how she grieves I guess.

But the Camping pictures are HERE.
